Destinations in Greece
Andros
Andros Island is the northernmost island within the Cycladic group and has a very strong naval tradition, indeed many of the large Greek shipping owners even have residences on the island, definitely a worthy endorsement.
The landscapes are quite different to those of sister islands, the verdant backdrop of pine clad rugged mountains tumbling down to the ocean, make the coastline simply gorgeous.
Apart from the many idyllic sandy beaches that envelop the coastline, there are hidden coves to discover, mountain ranges and superb trails for the most ardent of ramblers. In fact Andros is perhaps one of the best and indeed most popular of the Greek islands for those looking to walk in nature.
Andros town is the capital and cultural centre of the island and indeed packs a punch with many events and exhibitions held throughout the year, notably art and literature. Whilst Batsi and Gavrion focus more on tourism where you will find most of the hotels and apartments.Â
Tinos
Tinos is a Greek island situated in the Aegean Sea and being s located in the Cyclades archipelago, very close to Andros and Mykonos. In antiquity, Tinos was also known as Ophiussa and Hydroessa. Â
The history of Tinos is rich and dates back to the ancient years. Neptune was worshiped and Aeolos was believed to be living there. It was also a purgatory for those preparing to go to Delphi.
It is an extraordinary island, as the religious part, its culture and art and its special gastronomy, is the ultimate plus to the unique natural landscape with its villages and its lacy beaches. Aeolus’ island or the island of marble sculpture, as Tinos is often called, boasts gifts that anyone will be fascinated by.

What makes this city special is the vibrancy, the passion and emotion of the people. One day is never the same as the next and there is plenty to keep you occupied no matter how long you choose to come and stay. We invite you to come and discover the city with its plethora of luxurious hotels (We can source anything you desire with the best rates available) subject to availability. To discover its stunning coastline and marinas, the gregariousness of the residents and unique nightlife that roars until the early morning.
There is simply so much to see in Athens that sometimes you can spend the whole day just strolling around. Monastiraki is one of those places, and its famous flea market with its mish mash of old and new. This was where the first real rag and bone men of Athens used as their main market place. Just across Ermou street (a shoppers paradise) from Monastiraki is the area of Psiri with numerous restaurants, bars , cafes and taverns with live Greek bouzouki music. Psiri has now become one of those ‘must go to areas’ known for the great dining and atmosphere. both Monastiraki and Psiri have become a little like the Camden market of London.
